We are pleased to announce that Nils Wehner and Mi Lande have been awarded the Marietta Blau Scholarship 2026 by the OeAD.
The Marietta Blau Scholarship supports highly qualified doctoral candidates at Austrian universities through research stays abroad lasting several months. The aim of the program is to promote international scientific collaboration and to provide early-career researchers with the opportunity to further develop their doctoral research through exchange with international research institutions.
Nils will spend his research stay at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour (Radboud University Nijmegen), while Mi will conduct her research stay under PD Dr. Karsten Rauss at the Institute for Medical Psychology and Behavioral Neurobiology at the University of Tübingen.
The scholarship is named after the Austrian physicist Marietta Blau (1894–1970), a pioneer in particle physics. It honors her outstanding scientific contributions and represents the promotion of international exchange, scientific collaboration, and the advancement of the next generation of researchers.
We warmly congratulate Nils and Mi on this achievement and wish them a successful and rewarding time during their research stays abroad.
